REV baseball blanks Terriers

Pitchers Ray Fellows and Tyler Albabese combined to shut out Redlands in a 6-0 Redlands East Valley win.

Laviel Pickett led REV at the plate with three hits and three RBI and Jared Benash had two hits and two RBI. Chase Dabbs, Anthony Hernandez, Justin Granado, Gabe Chaparro and Chance Chavez all had a hit for REV. Tylar Scott had two hits for Redlands.

CVH softball bops Redlands

The Citrus Valley High softball team defeated Redlands 15-3 in five innings.

Jaelin Haynes had two hits and two RBI and Ella Nadeau two hits and four RBI to pace Citrus Valley. Taylor Petty pitched all five innings and allowed five hits and three runs. Jaedyn Lincoln had two hits for Redlands.

Eagle girls’ soccer wins title

The Arrowhead Christian Academy girls’ soccer team defeated Loma Linda Academy 9-0 to finish 11-1 as it earned an Ambassador League title.

ACA tennis wins title

The Arrowhead Christian boys’ tennis team defeated Aquinas 10-8 to win the Sunkist League title. The championship was the Eagles’ fourth in a row.

ACA, Aquinas soccer teams split

The Arrowhead Christian and Aquinas soccer programs met last week, and the first-place Aquinas boys defeated ACA 2-1 while the ACA girls rolled past the Falcons 8-2.

REV softball wins

The REV softball team defeated Cajon 8-6.

Alyssa Gonzales had two hits and three RBI, Rosa Ramirez had two hits and two RBI and Ivy Walker, Kylie Johnson, Amanda Waymire, Kenzie San Pedro and Christina Vargas all had one hit.

Beaumont girls down Redlands

The Beaumont High girls basketball team defeated Redlands 66-15. Jada Long led the Cougars with 15 points, followed by 12 from Grace Lee, 10 by Jana Roman and 10 from Janelle Pilao.

Taholia Howard and Antoinette Mamahit led Redlands with four points each.

U of R golfers make all-conference

The No. 1-ranked U of R women’s golf team put four athletes on the all-conference team.

It was led by SCIAC athlete of the year Hannah Jugar. Others to make the team were Gabbi Kiger, Malia Kiger and Kendall Nicholson.

Bulldog men all-conference

The University of Redlands Joshua Fambro was named athlete of the year on the SCIAC all-conference golf team. Others making all-conference from Redlands were Kyle Sharp and Jared Stone.

Redlands defeats Chapman

The University of Redlands softball team defeated Chapman 12-6 in the

second game of a double header. Rylie Barber went 5 for 5 with four

RBI, Tsianina Flores had two hits and one RBI, Collette Allen had one

hit and two RBI, Kalyn Kershner had two hits and one RBI and Kayla

Rivas had one hit and two RBI.

Chapman won the first game 3-0. Flores, Barber, Kershner, Megan

Watkins and Kayla Rivas had hits for Redlands.

Bulldogs sweep Chapman

The University of Redlands baseball team defeated Chapman in a

doubleheader, 8-7 and 19-12.

In the first game, Matt Kirkland had two hits and two RBI and Cal

Bridges two hits and one RBI. Matthew Brumbraugh earned the pitching

victory on relief.

Kirkland led Redlands in the nightcap, collecting four hits and four

RBI. Also for Redlands, Jared Anderson had three hits and an RBI,

Jonah Advincula one hit and two RBI, Brumbaugh four hits and two RBI,
