Cycling association to highlight Olympic cyclist

Redlands’ Youth Cycling Association will host world champion cyclist Kate Courtney at 5 p.m. Thursday, June 25.

The discussion will highlight her progression from a young rider in Marin through the National Interscholastic Cycling Association programs and

ultimately to being an Olympic athlete and one of the top riders in the world. Previous sessions with other athletes and coaches can be found on the Junior Cycling Network Youtube Channel.

The Youth Cycling Association was founded in 2019. Members are joined by a movement that coordinates and facilitates quality youth cycling programs that promote equal opportunities regardless of color, age, ethnicity or disability.
