Citrus Valley claimed “Grove” supremacy, defeating intra-city rival Redlands East Valley 57-7.
The victory also kept the Blackhawks (5-2, 1-1) one game behind co-leaders Cajon and Beaumont in the Citrus Belt League race.
Brockton Lium played quarterback and completed 13 or 20 passes for 201 yards and three touchdowns, with one interception.
Jeremiah Claiborne of the Blackhawks rushed for 120 yards and two scores.
Sophomore receiver Jordyn Harris caught four passes for 102 yards and three scores. Michael Counce also had a short TD run for the Blackhawks.
Joseph Mason-Pacheco had eight tackles for Citrus Valley and Ra’id Bowens, Lium, and Joseph Zelaya all had six apiece. Zelaya and Osman Bolanos had 1.5 sacks each and Andrew Arriola had two sacks.
Jelani McLaughlin chipped in with five tackles and an interception and Matt Matthews and Carlos Mota each had a pick as well.
REV freshman quarterback Izaiah Holley completed 16 of 23 passes for 151 yards.
Laviel Pickett caught eight of Holley’s passes for 106 yards.
