It appears to me the best customers of the new pot shops are the dreamers who think we need 3,000 or 4,000 new people living in stack apartments in our downtown that will bring instant transparency and sunshine.

For the last five years, we have been told to conserve our most precious resource — water. Will these new tenants bring their own supply? I think not.

With the amount of traffic in downtown Redlands, it will be interesting to watch when the train to nowhere starts blocking traffic on our north-south cross streets.

Do we really want Redlands to look like downtown Los Angeles or, God forbid, New York City?
