Re: “Campaign season begins,” Aug. 14.
In regards to the Aug. 14 editorial, an obvious solution to the fear of possible voter fraud when some voters hand their completed mail-in ballots to others to either mail or walk-in those ballots. Such voters should always be sure they know and trust those carriers.
For decades, I have voluntarily assisted friends, neighbors, relatives and students in completing their mail-in ballots and sometimes, upon their request, mailing or delivering them to election officials.
This election year, due to the worst pandemic in a century, it is vital that all voters consider mail-in ballots to avoid Covid-19.
