Marc Aaron Robles, once a member of Troop 16 in Redlands who earned the rank of Eagle Scout, died at his home in Moreno Valley on Feb. 22, 2020. He was 39.
Born on Jan. 3, 1980, in Covina, California, his family moved to Yucaipa when he was a boy. He lived in the Yucaipa area for most of his life. He was involved in youth soccer and later in Scouting.
He attained the rank of Eagle shortly before his 18th birthday. He attended Dunlap Elementary School and Panorama Christian School. He transferred to Yucaipa High for his senior year and became involved in drama, playing the leading role in a production of “Guys and Dolls” playing the part of Sky Masterson.
Robles worked off and on as a telecommunications installer and technician and in warehouses. He was preceded in death by his second wife Chiemi Nelson. He is survived by his two children, Marley and Weston Robles; his parents Monica and Jesse Robles; and his two older brothers, Christopher and Jesse Jr.
A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 20, at Saint Frances X. Cabrini Church in Yucaipa, on Saturday, March 21, his ashes will be placed in the Chapel at Holy Cross Cemetery in San Diego.
The family requests donations be made to the local chapter for the National Alliance for Mental Illness in lieu of flowers.
