Donald William Mulvihill, a Redlands resident who worked an accountant, died in Brea on Nov. 26, 2022, just short of his 90th birthday.

He was born on Dec. 27, 1922, to Frank and Margaret Mulvihill, who came to Redlands in the early 1900s.

There is Mulvihill Street at the site of their grove.

Mulvihill attended Sacred Heart School, was a 1950 graduate of Redlands High School and attended Woodbury Business College to become an accountant.

His wife, Dayle Murray-Kidd of the pioneer Moore and Prendergast families, died in 2004. They had four children, Briana and Patrick Mulvihill, Holly Sweet and Maureen Dopson; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He will be buried at Hillside Memorial Park.
