Tom Gorman, owner of Quality Finishing in Redlands, died on Sept. 3, 2019, in Redlands Community Hospital. He was 74.

Born on November 29, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio, Gorman lived in Redlands for 51 years.

He retired from Patton State Hospital in 2000 after 32 years before establishing his company in Redlands. Gorman is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jean; son Daniel; and daughter Christine, all of Redlands.

He also is survived by his brother Edwin Gorman of Connecticut, sister Barbara Wead of Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, Redlands. Reception to follow. Private interment will be held at Hillside Memorial Park, Redlands.
