Redlands Police arrested a 37-year-old Yucca Valley man Tuesday for attempted murder in connection with a stabbing late Monday night.
Police and Redlands firefighters responded at about 10:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, to a call of a man down in the 1300 block of Candela Street. On arrival they found a 40-year-old Redlands man suffering from multiple stab wounds. Paramedics treated the victim and he was transported to the hospital where he was later listed in stable condition.
Witnesses reported the victim was involved in an altercation with another man, later identified as Raymond Bonilla Sensenig, who was seen fleeing in a dark PT Cruiser. Redlands detectives developed information that Sensenig was possibly in the 34000 block of Glenwood Drive where they located the suspect vehicle.
Detectives obtained a $1 million dollar warrant for Sensenig’s arrest and officers with the department’s Street Enforcement Team set up surveillance on the residence. Sensenig was arrested without incident at about 9 a.m. Tuesday and additional evidence was recovered at the location.
Sensenig was booked at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga.
