The Volunteers for Veterans will present the 29th annual Veterans Memorial Car Show from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, at Sylvan Park.

The goal of this event is to raise money for the Volunteers for Veterans Foundation and to thank service members, both active and retired.

Hot rods, custom cars and trucks, and motorcycles will be on display.  There will be a pancake breakfast, food vendors, T-shirts, kid’s games, bingo and opportunity drawings along with a live and silent auction. A separate drawing for a custom American flag-themed vintage refrigerator (donated by Kitchen Concepts) will be conducted. Stater Bros. is the major sponsor.

Proceeds will provide veterans with emergency shelter and crisis management as well as helping families to maintain long-term stability and self-sufficiency.

The event is produced by Volunteers for Veterans Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. To learn more visit vfvfoundation.com or visit the Volunteers for Veterans Facebook page.
