The Redlands Recreation Division will offer Tai Chi for ages 55 and older beginning 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, at Prospect Park and continuing on Tuesdays through October.

Classes are taught by Linda Hamilton and offered through the Redlands Senior Services Division. Classes will be offered Sept. 22 and 29 for a total cost of $8.

Four classes will be available in October for a total cost of $12. Pre-registration is required. Visit cityofredlands.org/taichi to register.

Tai Chi is a noncompetitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise, deep breathing and stretching. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion. Calm the mind while improving your balance, flexibility and quality of life.

Participants should wear loose and comfortable clothing. The instructor will provide further details on attire and materials.
