Texas Tenors: The Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival continues its 97th season at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28 as the Redlands Bowl Performing Arts present the Texas Tenors, an Emmy Award-winning sensation. The trio is known for its international performances, acclaimed albums, more than 1,400 live concerts, and popular childrens books. Sponsored by Ken and Judith Stanford, the Texas Tenors presentation will demonstrate why Billboard Magazine has ranked them the tenth “Classical Artist in the World” for 2019. They are also the most successful touring group in the history of “America’s Got Talent.”
Summer Music Festival: The next Children’s Summer Music Festival Workshop will be presented at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29. Joya Kazi Unlimited will present music complemented by colorful costumes and a lively Bollywood dance experience. A UC Davis graduate, Joya Kazi has taught commercial dance at the Orange County School for the Arts. She has been featured in music videos for Disney, Dreamworks, Netflix and the Grammys. Aimed at young people ages 4 through 12, the Redlands Bowl Performing Arts Children’s Workshops are sponsored by the Contemporary Club, Redlands, and presented at 10 a.m. Saturdays on the Redlands Bowl YouTube Channel and Facebook Page. Upcoming workshops for the following two Saturdays will feature violinist Lindsay Deutsch and a joyous celebration of the Big Band era with Tim Gill and the All-Stars.
Mariachi Divas: At 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, Redlands Bowl Performing Arts will present the return of Mariachi Divas, the Grammy Award-winning ensemble acclaimed for creatively expanding the scope of mariachi music. Sponsored by Loma Linda University Health, the dynamic program will entertain audiences of all ages and walks of life. Mariachi Divas are the official mariachi of Disneyland Resort, where they may be seen performing in “A Musical Celebration of Coco.”
TAKE3: At 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, Redlands Bowl Performing Arts presents TAKE3, an ensemble celebrated for combining a refined classical music background with rock star charisma. The group has captivated crowds across the country with their arrangements of top pop hits, Americana, and classical favorites. In a presentation sponsored by the Contemporary Club, Redlands, TAKE3 performs under the leadership of violinist Lindsay Deutsch. The ensemble has toured the world with Yanni, recorded tracks for film and television, and performed as soloists for symphony orchestras.

Rebroadcasts: The Friday programs will be rebroadcast at 8 p.m. Saturdays on Spectrum’s Channel 3 and Frontier’s Channel 35. Tuesday programs will be rebroadcast at 8 p.m. Thursdays on the same channels.
