A 41-year-old Redlands woman was arrested in the stabbing death of her husband early Monday morning, May 25.

At about 12:30 a.m. police responded to several 911 calls reporting a stabbing that had just occurred in the 1200 block of Edwards Street. Police arrived within minutes and found the 54-year-old victim suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Officers performed life-saving measures on the victim until Redlands Fire Department paramedics arrived and took over. The victim was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

The victim’s wife, Danielle Latrice RussellWaggoner, was located and detained at the scene. She was arrested shortly after receiving treatment for a non-life-threatening wound. Investigators served a search warrant at the residence where they located evidence.

RussellWaggoner was booked to Central Detention Center in San Bernardino where she is being held without bail.
