San Bernardino County reports more than 2,000 cases, 93 deaths

Total cases increased by 6.7 percent over the previous day. Deaths increased by 4.5 percent. The number of tests reached 19,964, an increase of 2.5 percent over the previous day.

The city of San Bernardino has the highest number of confirmed cases at 247 followed by Fontana with 245.

Yucaipa, where 71 people were infected in the Cedar-Mountain Post-Acute Care Facility, leads in the number of deaths with 21. Nineteen have tied at CΩedar-Mountain, according to the dashboard. Colton has had nine deaths and there have been seven in Fontana, Upland and Redlands.

Riverside County, which has tested more than 50,000 people, reported 4,0 31 cases and 149 deaths.

The California Department of Public Health reported 48,917 as of Wednesday and 1,982 fatalities.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported more than 1 million cases nationwide and more than 60,000 deaths.
