Over the past three weeks, San Bernardino County Human Trafficking Task Force investigators have made 19 arrests related to criminal activity and prostitution around schools in downtown San Bernardino, including a wanted federal fugitive sought for violations related to human smuggling and firearms.

Investigators rescued three adults and a juvenile victim of human trafficking from the 500 to 1200 blocks of G Street.

The task force and the San Bernardino City Unified School District Police Department have partnered in efforts to combat criminal activities in and around several schools.
