A felon who lives in Highland was arrested Friday afternoon after a loaded firearm and a large amount of marijuana was found his car during a traffic stop, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department reports.

At about 4:30 p.m. May 15, deputy D. Price from the Sheriff's Central Station pulled over Anthony Washington, 35, at Pacific Street and Elm Avenue in San Bernardino. He determined that Washington he was a previously convicted felon with two state prison terms.

Washington was arrested for PC 29800(A)(1) felon in possession of a firearm and booked into the Central Detention Center without incident.
