A 37-year-old San Bernardino man died after his car slammed to the rear of a Ford F-150 traveling east on Interstate 10 Saturday night near Sierra Avenue on Fontana, the CHP reports.
A 11:10 p.m. April 3, Nattapon Kaeomutsa, a 26-year-old Loma Linda man traveling at about 75 mph when the unidentified driver of a 2005 Scion TC ran into the Ford.
“After the initial impact, the driver of the Scion lost control and veered right across all lanes and subsequently collided into a tree and chain link fence,” said a press release.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending identification and notification of next of kin by the San Bernardino County coroner’s office. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision.
