 “An Unforgettable Christmas” is this year’s theme for the annual Christmas Parade to be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, in historic downtown Redlands.

The noon Kiwanis Club of Redlands is looking for parade entries and sponsors.

This is one of the most unique nighttime parades within the Inland Empire and is known for the festive spirit and robust attendance.

The parade is a joint effort between the noon Kiwanis Club of Redlands and the city of Redlands.

It is televised on Frontier/Verizon channel 35 and TWC channel 3.

Redlands Kiwanis is looking for entries of classic cars, local sports teams, high school clubs, Scout troops, equestrians, musical bands, carolers and any other group that would like to spread holiday cheer and joy for all who attend

Applications are available at Redlands City Hall, Redlands Chamber of Commerce, Martha Green’s Eating Room, Fleur De Lis, Darrel Olson Insurance Solutions and Redlands Jewelers.

Make checks payable to Kiwanis Club of Redlands. All entries must be received by Nov. 20.

To assure the Redlands Christmas Parade upholds its traditional success, sponsorships are needed.

Sponsorship logos placed throughout the parade route are sure to be noticed.

This is a televised event with hundreds of participants and thousands of spectators.

Sponsorship levels range from $100 to $5,000 with a variety of perks and must be received as soon as possible to ensure the businesses are included.

The rain date will be Dec. 14..
