The Redlands Chamber of Commerce will host its fourth annual Chamber 5k Dog Jog at 9 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, in Sylvan Park.

Adult participants will all receive an official Redlands Chamber Dog Jog T-shirt. Four-legged competitors will each get a race bandanna. After the 5k, participants can visit the various vendors and demonstrations in the park, such as police K-9 demonstrations, dog training tips and best practices by Pawsitively Mannered, agility training demos, a mobile groomer and more.

This year, the Rochford Foundation has generously provided a sponsorship that allows for all children up to age 12 to participate in the event for free. The Rochford Foundation is a private nonprofit founded by Redlands native Tim Rochford in 2008.

Its primary focus is the Burrage Mansion — restoring and maintaining the mansion and grounds and offering this beautiful setting to other local nonprofits that serve children. The foundation also provides philanthropic support to a variety of children’s charities. Given the nature of the sponsorship for the Chamber, it was a perfect pairing between the two organizations, with the hope of providing a new avenue of community engagement for all residents of Redlands.
