The Redlands Planning Commission unanimously approved a conditional use permit for a veterinary clinic during its meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 9.

The Redlands Animal Hospital, which is the oldest veterinary clinic in the city, operating for more than 20 years, is at 1093 W. Colton Ave. It will move to the new location at 1327 W. Colton Avenue. The clinic will provide various routine services, surgery, laboratory work and other care and services for cats, dogs and other domestic animals in an existing 7,587-square-foot commercial building. No animal boarding services are proposed. The project includes interior tenant improvements, fencing, landscaping, new exterior paint and other minor on-site improvements. The proposed hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., daily. There is no proposed opening date.
