The Redlands Planning Commission approved a conditional use permit for an entertainment facility at 840 and 844 Tri-City Center Drive during its meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 11.

The applicant proposed to establish an entertainment facility rented out for various events including, wedding receptions, birthday parties, business meetings and luncheons. The tenant space would occupy two suites for a total of 1,965 square feet. The area will also include space available for hired caterers to keep food and beverages. The facility is available for rent daily. The applicant said no events would last beyond midnight. Security is provided for each event.

The commission also approved a request to replace an existing monument sign with a 21.9- square-foot monument sign, four feet high, for a Denny’s restaurant at 110 W. Redlands Blvd. The building was previously a Sizzler. Denny’s recently acquired the property and will renovate the building.
