Independence Day was celebrated in true Redlands fashion with a parade, a daylong celebration at Sylvan Park and a fireworks show at Ted Runner Stadium that included skydivers and flyovers.
Tim Morone, chairman of the Redlands 4th of July Committee, thanked his fellow board members, volunteers and presenting sponsor San Manual Band of Mission Indians.
“Without the months of dedication, time and coordination we could not put this event on,” he said.
