The Sandalwood Fire grew to 823 acres overnight and as of 7:15 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, it was 10 percent contained, according to Cal Fire Riverside.

            According to authorities, evacuations remain in place for affected areas.

           

The Reche Fire, in the Moreno Valley area, grew to 350 acres and was 40 percent contained, said Cal Fire Riverside.  Resources remain on scene to strengthen containment lines, authorities said.

           

            The Wolf Fire, in the Banning area, grew to 75 acres and was 25 percent contained, Cal Fire Riverside said.  Evacuation Warnings remain in place for affected areas.  Resources remain on scene working to strengthen containment lines, authorities said.

UPDATE 10:50 AM, 0ct. 11: At least one person died during he Sandalwood Fire, in Calimesa, on Thursday, Oct. 10, authorities confirmed today. The Villa Calimesa Mobile Home Park remains closed as authorities search for other possible bodies. Residents are allowed inside one by one to get personal documents and supplies for children.
