University of Redlands Chaplain John Walsh stands outside his home on Saturday, Dec. 19, as university students, faculty and staff surprise him with a drive-by parade to celebrate his 20-plus years of service to the university community. Well known for his work at the University of Redlands as a key performer in the annual Feast of Lights, and in the community, Walsh announced he will retire on Dec. 31, 2021, but will hold an emeritus position.
