Chino Hills man arrested on possession of child pornography

Shun Quan Yang, of Chino Hills, was arrested and booked into West Valley Detention Center, in Rancho Cucamonga, under charges of possession of child pornography.

A cyber tip led to the arrest on Tuesday, Dec. 3 of a 56-year-old man who was charged with possession of child pornography, said the San Bernardino County Sheriff Department.

According to authorities, Shun Quan Yang, of Chino Hills, was arrested and booked into West Valley Detention Center, in Rancho Cucamonga, under charges of possession of child pornography.

The arrest was made after Yang was contacted and asked to visit the Chino Hills Police Department, following a cyber tip reported by an Electronic Service Provider that contained various images of child pornography.

At the end of the interview, Yang was arrested.  His bail was set at $500,000, said authorities.
