Among the recent donations to the Museum of Redlands collection is this dog tag from 1961-62. One Redlands resident who was a teenager in 1962 remembers riding his bike from the Kingsbury Elementary School area across town to Sylvan Park to get his dog vaccinated at the annual free rabies clinic. The dog simply followed the bike, no leash involved.
