New pizza restaurant opens in the Packinghouse District

Mountain Mike’s Pizza has opened in the Packinghouse District.

Mountain Mike’s Pizza, a California-based family-style pizza chain known for its crispy, curly pepperonis and huge pizzas, has opened a new location in the Packinghouse District shopping center.

Founded in 1978 in the Bay Area, the chain has about 200 locations.

Besides pizza, it serves chicken wings, sandwiches, an all-you-can-eat salad bar, wine and beer, and dessert, including a cinnamon dessert pizza.

“Mountain Mike’s Pizza has been a go-to spot for families for over 40 years, and we’re excited to make our irresistible pizza available to even more Inland Empire residents with the opening of our newest location in Redlands,” Robby Basati, the Mountain Mike’s franchise owner and development agent, said in a press release. “We’re grateful for the warm welcome we’ve received from guests in the neighborhood so far, and are looking forward to hosting family dinners, game day parties and celebrations of all kinds for many years to come.”

The Redlands restaurant includes a patio for outdoor seating and big screen TVs. It is the official pizza of the San Francisco 49ers.
