A Redlands company that distributes food services and janitorial products has been purchased, the IE Business Daily reports.
P&R Paper Supply, which has been in operation for nearly 60 years, was bought recently by Imperial Dade in Jersey City, N.J., according to a statement.
The Redlands company was established as a family owned and operated company in 1965, according to its website. Its corporate office, at 1898 E. Colton Ave., was established as a family owned and operated company in 1965.
It employs 250 people, operates six regional warehouses and stocks more than 7,000 items in nearly 500,000 combined square feet of warehousing. It operates more than 70 delivery vehicles and serves more than 5,000 customers.
“We specialize in the distribution of janitorial supplies, packaging and food service disposable products to private and public businesses and agencies throughout California, Arizona, Nevada and Washington,” the website says.
Imperial Dade also distributes food services and janitorial supplies. The terms of the transaction, including its cost, were not disclosed.

The purchase, which will strengthen Imperial Dade’s West Coast operations, is the 28th purchase made by the company under its current management team, according to the statement.
