U of R Visiting Writers’ Series continues with author Ivy Pochoda

The Creative Writing Department at the University of Redlands welcomes award-winning author Ivy Pochoda as it continues the Visiting Writers’ Series at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 5, in the Hall of Letters 100 on the Redlands main campus. This event is free and open to the public.

Pochoda, who teaches creative writing at the Lamp Arts Studio in Skid Row, is the author of “Wonder Valley,” which won The Strand Magazine Critics Award for Best Novel and was a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize and the Southern California Independent Booksellers Award, among others.

“Visitation Street” received the Page America Prize in France and was chosen as an Amazon Best Book of 2013 and a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers selection.
