Jamie Beck of Career Vision will present two free workshops in the Assembly Room of the A.K. Smiley Public Library, one about traveling on the cheap on Monday, Sept. 30, and one on creative job searches on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

“If you’ve caught the travel bug, want to take a gap year in your education, are looking to discover your passion, need a break from the rat race, or hope to start a new life off the grid, this program is for you!” says one press release.

“Join us for this unique workshop full of out-of-the-box, innovative and imaginative ideas that turn the job search process from reactive to proactive and puts the job seeker in the driver’s seat,” says another.  “Career Vision will customize the workshop to your local area and provide you with resources that make sense in your community.”

No registration is required. The library is at 125 W. Vine St., Redlands. For more information, visit akspl.org or call (909) 798-7565.
